Warwick Schiller
A lifelong equestrian, Warwick initially focused his competitive efforts on reining, eventually becoming an NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) Reserve World Champion and representing Australia at the 2010 & 2018 World Equestrian games. Along the way, Warwick not only discovered a passion and a talent for teaching, but he also became aware of a consuming curiosity about how things can be done differently. For the past 13 years, he has been sharing knowledge in his online video library, social media and his YouTube Channel, which has amassed over 27 million views.
A chance encounter with a horse 7 years ago that shifted his perspective on horses and life a complete 180 degrees, he is now excited about teaching connection and relationship-based interactions and training with horses. An offshoot of that caused him to start The Journey On Podcast, where he interviews amazing people from around the world and learns about the path that led them to a perspective that may fall outside of our cultural and societal conditioning. The Journey On Podcast has amassed over 3 million downs and has spawned an annual Live Podcast Summit event on 3 continents.

Thursday Masterclass 9-4 Compeer Arena Day Before the Expo Opens
In addition, we are scheduling a Thursday Masterclass with Warwick to take place in Compeer Arena from 9am to 4pm approximately for those of us who want a full day with Warwick. Admission to the Masterclass for auditors will be $30 payable at the door. Cash or check please. Email kathy@mnhorseexpo.org to reserve a spot and help us keep track of interest.
Here’s what the Masterclass will be about:
Warwick will work with 4 horses and their owners over the course of the day. They will focus on Relationship Before Horsemanship and The Principles of Training. Warwick’s style is to find a good starting point with the partnership, where the horse and rider are both in a relaxed, calm state before beginning to teach either of them anything. There is a lot to learn in the attainment of that relaxation and sometimes that is the only work that needs to be done before we see amazing transformations.
If you are interested in applying to be one of the 4 horses and owners at the Thursday Masterclass or to participate with your horse during the Expo please contact Robyn at warwick@warwickschiller.com for details. Stabling at Expo will cost $40 per night (bedding is included) or $150 from Wednesday thru Sunday of Expo. An Expo stall contract must be submitted once you are chosen. To preview the stall contract terms, visit http://mnhorseexpo.org/pdf/horseexhibitor.pdf on the Expo website.
